MANAGING DIRECTOR
MATEUSZ FIRLEJ
Graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. In the advertising industry for twelve years. At MUFU, Mateusz is the Art Director and head of the Graphics Department. What drives him in his personal and professional life? He observes, notices, remembers, and relates. He has created countless logos, posters, and visual identities. His signature style can be found on the logos of well-known brands and cultural campaigns. Mateusz likes backpacking and design from the '60s and surrounds himself with mid-century furniture (which he both collects and restores). He claims he has trouble expressing the full extent of his thoughts, but we think he does a pretty great job of it.

KAROLINA BEN
Karolina graduated in Marketing and Management from the Catholic University of Lublin. She loves working in marketing, promotion, and culture, which is why she is a Senior Project Manager in the Art & Culture section at MUFU. She entered the world of marketing over a decade ago, and has always been involved with culture. Over the last six years, Karolina has also got to know it from behind the scenes, joining the ranks of a major Polish cultural institution where she was responsible for campaigns supporting brands, coordinating visual identities, and rebranding projects.

SENIOR PM CULTURE & ART
KRZYSZTOF PIŁA
If you asked Krzysztof what mattered most to him, he would say the social dimension of design. In his work, he deals with branding and the application of AI. Krzysztof likes cultural and social projects the most. He is fascinated by history, design theory, and the contemporary evolution of design. He is an ardent functionalist and a passionate photographer. His art photography can be found on the social profile "NH50MM-dirty photography". Dirty and really beautiful.

OLA BĄK
Ola is a multidisciplinary graphic designer who primarily deals with illustration and animation. She eagerly explores new media and techniques, and feels most at home in educational, cultural, and wellbeing-related projects. Ola is a devoted reader, comic book collector and formerly a print publication book designer. She loves to travel to experience new cultures, recharge her batteries, and take inspiration for her creative work. She uses those inspirations to design great projects at MUFU.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER & ILLUSTRATOR
DAWID FOLGIERT
Since childhood, Dawid has felt the need for creative expression. He spent whole days building with LEGO, and when he got bored, he switched to design. Currently Dawid designs visual identities and websites. He is constantly developing and discovering new areas of design, including motion design and UI/UX. If you ask what he strives for in his work, he will say it is combining beauty with functionality. Dawid says ‘design should be aesthetic and practical,’ and the whole MUFU team agrees with him. In his free time, he enjoys gaming and but is equally happy stepping away from the computer to walk his dog.

KINGA SABAK
Kinga writes copy, reviews, articles, and stories because writing is her vocation. She has been published in Newsweek, Forbes Women, and Replika. Kinga is the Co-creator of the creative duo Te Dwie. She participates in creating the cultural weekly MINT, and works tirelessly to ensure MUFU has the best copywriting and social media posts in the world. She loves her dog, Karol, and foodwise craves basil pesto from a jar with cheese-flavoured Cheetos.

SM MANAGER & COPYWRITER
IRMINA KOSIŃSKA
After 25 years in assistant positions elsewhere, Irmina landed at MUFU and stayed. Without her, we wouldn’t know the internet password or the entry code. She is a sociologist by training and privately is an owner of forty potted plants, a cat, and a dog. Irmina reads Cave, Palahniuk, and Cioran, and used to like slasher movies. She can wake up at three in the morning to turn spice jar labels forward so they stand perfectly aligned. At MUFU, we like a quirky personality.

OFFICE MANAGER
MICHAŁ TUZ
Michał’s passion for gaming led him to create frag movies [the best off videos of play of high-level gamers]. We know that because he showed us his projects on YouTube. Fourteen years ago, Michał combined his hobby with work and got into motion design and video editing. He thinks the 9:16 [portrait-orientation] video format is the worst possible format, which is the source of never-ending conflict with our Social Media Manager.

MOTION DESIGNER & VIDEO EDITOR
JAKUB NURZYŃSKI
Jakub likes to create new worlds – attributable both to his expansive imagination and to his escapist tendencies. He produced a full-length (103-minute) fanfic about The Witcher (nearly 2 million views on YouTube). In the role of second director, he co-created such feature films as Control and Generation IKEA. Jakub finds solace in spreadsheets, budgets, and work plans. He likes to travel backwards in time: fascinated by mythologies, especially Slavic and Japanese. He hates it when the audio volume is set anywhere other than 0 or 5.
